Consistently attend rehearsals and performances
Prepare all ensemble music outside of rehearsals
Communicate any absence to the Conductor
Take responsibility for KCB folder, music & other property
KCB rehearsals will be held on Monday evenings in the band room of Kingman Middle School (1969 Detroit Avenue). Rehearsals will begin promptly at 7:00 P.M. and end by 8:30 P.M. Musicians are asked to arrive early to warm up properly and prepare for the evening’s rehearsal.
Rehearsals for the 2016-2017 KCB season will begin on Monday, August 1, 2016 and run through May 1, 2017. The band will be “dark” most Mondays following a performance and dates which coincide with KUSD holidays.
Performance attire consists of a KCB shirt or plain white top with dark pants/shorts/skirt.
A member may opt to purchase a band shirt and/or hat from Signs of Chaos 2631 East Northern Avenue, 692-6068.
Consistent attendance to rehearsals is integral to the ensemble’s musical success throughout the year. Absences due to
illness, a family emergency & periodic leave for personal reasons are understood, but should be limited to help sustain
quality performance preparations. To best plan for each band rehearsal, a KCB Member should notify Conductor Julie Gragg at conductor@kingmanconcertband.com or (C)928.853.3846 regarding an absence. Advanced planning should be made for absences prior to any performance.
In the event a band member leaves the organization and fails to return Kingman Concert Band’s property (folder, sheet music, etc.), the Member will be subject to reimburse the Band for the monetary value of each missing item.

KCB Bylaws 5-11-15
KCB members may opt to donate to the band’s rehearsal facility fund to help defray the weekly rehearsal space fees. KUSD
